Seniors Helping Seniors will be presenting “Information For Life” to the National Council of Jewish Women on Friday, November 14. The meeting will start at 9:30 with the presentation beginning at 10 am in Clubhouse 5 in Laguna Woods Village. All attendees will receive a free Information for Life Kit courtesy of Seniors Helping Seniors. Information for Life is a tool developed by the Society for Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) to encourage seniors to compile and organize personal, legal, medical and financial information. SCSA educates and certifies professionals to work more effectively with their senior clients. The CSA credential is the gold standard for professionals across a range of professions serving seniors including senior home care, financial planning, insurance, placement and real estate. A completed Information for Life Kit provides the critical information loved ones need to make decisions on behalf of a person who is no longer able to due to a physical or cognitive disability or accident. The Information for Life Kit contains checklists, forms, and supporting guides to enable a senior to collect and store information that someday could be vital to their well-being.
